Thanks for visiting us here at Orient Opulence Cattery. We are a small cattery located near Barrie Ontario. We specialize in breeding and hand raising Siamese and Oriental Shorthair cats. We are both TICA and CFA registered and continually strive to produce the finest kittens who epitomize their respective breed standards. More importantly, however, we are dedicated to preserving the health and temperment of the Siamese and Oriental Shorthair breeds. To this end, we spend a large amount of our free time showing our breeding cats and networking with other breeders throughout the world. This ensures that we have access to a large gene pool for our out crosses which in turn minimizes the chances of inheritable diseases being passed down from generation to generation.

While there are some minor differences, the Oriental Shorthair is basically a Siamese with a different wardrobe. These are VERY unique cats and are unlike most other breeds in terms of intelligence, temperment and affection.
At Orient Opulence Cattery, we NEVER cage our Queens, Studs or Kittens. They are all part of our family and live with us. We only have a couple of litters a year and only ever have one set of kittens being raised at a time. This enables us to spend a large part of our evenings teaching our kittens to be well behaved and treasured members of the family. The kittens and their mom sleep in our bedroom and are truly raised under foot. The love and affection we shower the kittens with in their first 4 months of life ensures that as a buyer, you will get a very well adjusted and adoring companion.
